What the critics say:
THE SUPER AUDIO CD (USA): "This recording is spectacular in terms of dynamics and accuracy. Even more exciting is the quality of arrangements and the variety of musical choices made by the leader of the brass ensemble, Graham Ashton".
STEREOPHILE (USA): "A magnificent recording…..the arrangements are fascinating".
MULTI-CHANNEL RECORDING REVIEW (USA): "Spectacular arrangements by trumpet player Graham Ashton, full of good ideas on how to use the instruments for best effects".
THE ABSOLUTE SOUND (USA): "..arrangements for organ, brass and timpani, cleverly arranged by Graham Ashton. The music ranges from a knockout of a piece by Richard Strauss to Rachmaninoff, and even the 'Great Gate of Kiev' from Pictures at an Exhibition".
